THE HOTEL
With just 11 individually designed rooms, it is the perfect place to relax before or after your safari. All rooms at the House of Waine have televisions with local and satellite channels, direct dial telephones and a mini bar that has complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and freshly ground coffee is delivered daily.
The house is built within 2 1/2 acres of lush gardens, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of Nairobi. Meals are served in various indoor and outdoor locations around the house with delicious international cuisine and a special traditional Kenyan meal prepared for those who wish to be a bit more adventurous. The House of Waine is within easy reach of Nairobi's attractions including the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Dinner is a spectacular affair at House of Waine and not to be missed incredible cuisine in a beautiful dining room the perfect end or start to a wonderful holiday in Kenya.
Everything was excellent. Except when I had to leave and return home. I didn't want to.
