Amarina Hotel is built on the beautiful Anporaha beach, which is 950m long and located on the north west coast of Nosy Be, in a tropical garden facing the Ambohiday lagoon. The hotel has 58 spacious rooms ranging from superior to senior suites which fringe the seafront on two separate levels. All rooms face west and have a terrace with sofa which enables the guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The bathrooms are large, designed in marble with double basin, bath, shower and separate toilet. All rooms have a range of organic natural care products. In addition the rooms are elegant designed and have air conditioning, mini-bar, television with DVD, internal telephone, Wifi connection, hair dryer, coffee and tea service.

Due to the size of the country, Madagascar experiences a range of climatic conditions. The heaviest rainfall tends to fall on the east coast and in the north particularly through the cyclone season between December and March. The highlands and parts of the south west remain fairly dry year round although sharp showers can be experienced in Fort Dauphin area.
