THE HOTEL
Set upon the North Ari Atoll, Banyan Tree Madivaru is located just 30 minutes southwest by seaplane from Male International Airport. Madivaru, meaning 'Ray' in Dhivehi, is an island spanning an area of 16,000 square meters with white long beaches. Banyan Tree Madivaru comprises 6 Tented Pool Villas. Each Tented Pool Villa is a set of three individual tents, distinctively equipped to function as living, sleeping, and bath areas. The Banyan Tree Spa experience is conducted In-Villa for the ultimate island indulgence. Side-by-side treatment beds in the bath tent are transformed into an oasis of calm; receive facials or massages in the privacy of your own tent.
Dining options are varied with the option to have a sandbank lunch or dinner, in villa dinning or the exquisite Boa Keyo restaurant where in the evening you may be able to spot eagle rays, turtles, dolphins or even manta rays in the Indian Ocean.
Enjoy champagne and canapés while cruising and watching wild dolphins play as the sunsets in the North Ari Atoll.
Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with A&K. There was a fascinating mix of location and camp styles and the particular sequence worked very well for us.
