Maldives
Imagine the perfect setting; a tiny tropical island with powder white sands floating amidst the stunning surroundings of the Maldives. Outside, listen to the gentle sounds of the waves and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Inside, each private house provides the familiar cool of hardwood floors, white clapboard shutters and refreshing infinity pools. Here are the comforts you know and love, combined with the romantic getaway you've always dreamed of. Naladhu is the perfect place to find refuge and let all your worries drift away.
Arrive at Naladhu in style by being whisked across the ocean in an ultra-stylish Sunseeker, the only place in the Maldives where you can do this. As soon as you set foot on the island, you will meet your private Housemaster, available to you 24 hours a day. He can arrange in-room spa treatments such as an alfresco floral bath or an exotic Indian spice-rub overlooking the ocean. He will bring you breakfast in bed or organise a barbecue on your own private deck. As a Naladhu guest, you will not only have exclusive use of your own island but can also make use of the facilities on two neighbouring islands. Our recommendation is to visit Baan Huraa, a fabulous Thai restaurant located on a jetty connecting to Anantara island. The restaurant itself is stunning and the food simply delicious.

Naladhu's 19 secluded houses incorporate timeless design, idyllic views and an unmatched feeling of home. Interiors are a mix of Colonial and Indian flavours with elegant hardwood furnishings. Each expansive bedroom boasts a sublime feather mattress, while the living area leads to an amazing open-air bathroom with your own private sauna and steam room, sunken bath and rain shower. Outside, hardwood decks and a private infinity-edge 8 x 4 metre pool offer the perfect vantage point for stargazing or toasting a picture-perfect sunset. It is difficult to choose which house we like best; interiors are the same, but locations differ. November - April
The best time to travel to the Maldives is during our winter months when the humidity is lower and the temperature more comfortable. However, the monsoon season of May to September should not be discounted for travel as the resorts have fantastic offers on accommodation. The heavier showers tend to occur in the mornings or the late afternoons; a perfect time to visit the spa.
