Maldives
The Taj Exotica Resort and Spa is situated on the island of Emboodhu Finolhu and is encircled by one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. It blends the comforts of fine living seamlessly with the natural surroundings as its palm thatched villas are built entirely over water with private sundecks that open out onto the Indian Ocean.
Each of the villas are built from local materials, designed in the classic Maldivian style and finished in natural tones and textures. Guests can choose from 24 semi-detached Lagoon Villas, 31 private detached Deluxe Lagoon Villas, four Beach Villas, four Deluxe Beach Villas or the exclusive two-room Rehendhi Suite. At the far end of the island, lies the Jiva Grande Spa that offers a wide range of physical and spiritual treatments along with an Indian bathing pavilion and Ayurveda therapies. Soothing, aromatic and rejuvenating treatments are administered in ocean facing rooms. The resort's two restaurants and bar all offer uninterrupted panoramic views of the lagoon and offer a wide selection of exquisite cuisine. Combined with the plethora of water sports and recreational activities, the Taj Exotica is a complete and exclusive destination.

The best time to travel to the Maldives is during our winter months when the humidity is lower and the temperature more comfortable. However, the monsoon season of May to September should not be discounted for travel as the resorts have fantastic offers on accommodation. The heavier showers tend to occur in the mornings or the late afternoons; a perfect time to visit the spa.
