Maldives
W Maldives is a symphony of ultra-chic polished wood and glass set on a small private island, with beautifully-designed villas on the water's edge or stretching out across the sheltered waters of its own lagoon. Guests are spoiled with bars to suit each time of day; a choice of restaurants serving world-class specialities and seafood fresh from the ocean; a dive school and a full-service spa offering courses in meditation and yoga.
Step off the beach and into one of the most spectacular house reefs in the Maldives, where you will be surrounded by colourful coral, baby reef sharks, stingrays and turtles. If you would prefer to stay above the surface, take out a glass kayak or have a go at kite-surfing. How about booking a private island for the day or chilling out in the spa? After spending time with the resident marine biologist, watch the sun go down at the SIP lounge. Try a selection of gourmet delights, whether it is dining barefoot under the stars at FIRE, or tasting the catch of the day at FISH. Finish the night at 15 Below, where the DJ plays chill beats nightly while you indulge in a Fashionista martini or try out the shisha.

November - April
The best time to travel to the Maldives is during our winter months when the humidity is lower and the temperature more comfortable. However, the monsoon season of May to September should not be discounted for travel as the resorts have fantastic offers on accommodation. The heavier showers tend to occur in the mornings or the late afternoons; a perfect time to visit the spa.
