This collection of valleys contains a plethora of small villages and pre-Columbian ruins. While providing great opportunities for day trips, the countryside is in itself something of wonder! Our recent awards
This is the second trip we have done with A&K. (The first was in 1999.) We were very impressed with A&K on the first trip. We were even more impressed with A&K on the second trip. Consequently, we are already considering a third trip with A&K – to Egypt in March 2014.

Best time to be there
October to April as the rainy season works its way up from the south beginning in May and running until September. Hurricanes may occur from July to October. December to February are the coolest months, when northerly winds can sometimes take inland northern Mexico temperatures down to freezing.
