Days 1 to 3 - Cairo
A&K's skilled Egyptologists will bring Cairo to life with fantastic stories of Pharaohs and mummies. The Egyptian Museum is filled with treasures from across the country, including Tutankhamen's famous mask and the eerie Royal Mummy Room. Your Egyptologist will find the right pitch for the youngsters, to ensure their imaginations are fuelled. You'll head into the bustling Khan el-Khalili for a scavenger hunt through the market streets, bargaining hard with the vendors to win the game. And, of course, a visit to Cairo would not be complete without visiting the iconic Great Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx.
Days 4 to 6 - Aswan to Luxor
Flying south you will reach the Nile at Aswan. Many great explorers and treasure hunters plied this route and now you will experience some of its wonders during a three night cruise on board Sanctuary Sun boat IV which showcases many of the country's highlights. Amongst these are giant temples with intricate carvings still standing after thousands of years in the sand. Tombs once piled high with untold treasure are still decorated with colourful images and hieroglyphics telling stories that your Egyptologist will decipher. See mummified crocodiles at the Crocodile Museum at Kom Ombo and follow in the footsteps of Howard Carter as you descend into Tutankhamen's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. The food on board Sun Boat IV is amazing - and plentiful. Children's requirements are extremely well catered for, and all food and dining ware is prepared in sterilised water for total peace of mind.
Days 6 to 7 - Red Sea
There is no better way to conclude your trip than with some total relaxation on the Red Sea, one of the best snorkelling and diving locations in the world. The Four Seasons Sharm-el Sheikh here is a lavish five star resort with brilliant service, fantastic facilities for adults including spa and a dive school, and an amazing Kids Club that will keep youngsters entertained during the rest of your stay.

You will be privately transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
