Best time to be there

Whilst year round Morocco is warm and sunny, the best time to visit is from mid February to June and from September to December. Coastal Morocco is cooled by breezes off the Mediterranean and Atlantic. The peaks of the Atlas Mountains are snow capped for most of the year.

Essaouira

Essaouira is a combination of ocean views, curving sandy beaches, historic architecture and cultural treasures, making it one of Morocco's most beautiful and best-loved towns.  Its narrow streets discourage cars, making it look much the same as it did in the days of sea pirates.  This laid back town is where the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley liked to hang out and is a perfect spot to unwind, eat delicious seafood and absorb the mellow scene.
