Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche

Day 2 Casablanca / Fes
Towering over the city from its position on the wind-chapped Atlantic coast, the Hassan II Mosque was completed in 1993 after great expense and artistic labour;it's the largest mosque in the country and one of the most beautiful in the world. You'll see the striking interior –the sea bed is visible through the entrance hall –on a guided tour. On the way to Fes stop in Meknes to see one of the country's imperial cities, and at Volubilis to visit the ruined Roman city, before checking into the Palais Faraj Suites and Spa in the heart of the old town.
Palais Faraj Suites and Spa | Meals: Breakfast

Day 3 Fes
Step back in time to discover the timeless charm of Fes, one of the best-preserved imperial cities in the world. Wander the 9,000 narrow lanes and alleys that make up the labyrinth of the city's old quarter, a fortified citadel of switchback streets and markets interspersed with vibrant souks and traditional workshops. Discover the historic Nejjarine Fountain, fine palaces, mosques and madrassas (Koran Schools) that are dotted throughout the city.
Palais Faraj Suites and Spa | Meals: Breakfast

Day 4 Fes / Rabat
Explore the beautifully preserved relics of Morocco's Moorish past in the capital, Rabat. The city's most famous site is the Tour Hassan, an incomplete minaret of the great mosque, and next door the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the present king's grandfather. Stroll through the former palace of Kasbah des Oudaias, standing sentry on a bluff overlooking the pounding Atlantic surf before heading to the quiet sanctuary of your central riad.
Villa Mandarine | Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 Rabat / Marrakech
Marrakech is known as the 'red city' and you'll soon see why;the sunset reflecting off the ochre-hued buildings turns the city crimson in the dying light. The heart of the medina is a bustling maze of sound and activity, and you're in the very centre of it at the delightful Riad Joya. Slip behind the hotel's walls and find a slice of peace.
Riad Joya | Meals: Breakfast

Day 6 Marrakech
Most of Marrakech's architectural attractions are inside the medina;start at the Koutoubia mosque with its inspiring minaret that spawned multiple copies;the Bahia Palace is a masterpiece of domestic architecture;and the Dar Si Said Museum, with its pool-peppered courtyards scented with citrus, palms and flowers. In the heart of Marrakech there's the permanently buzzing Djemaa el-Fnaa square, and everywhere you turn you'll come across fire eaters, mime artists, snake charmers and street musicians, with trinkets and towering piles of spices on every corner.
Riad Joya | Meals: Breakfast

Day 7 Atlas Mountains
Escape the frenetic energy of the city to a place where the silence is almost deafening. Just a short drive from the capital is the serenity of the High Atlas Mountains, a jagged cluster of peaks that conceal winding mountain roads, snow-capped summits and traditional Berber villages where the way of life has remained the same for centuries. See how time has stood still on a visit to the picturesque Berber villages of the Asni Valley, located among the foothills of some of the Atlas' highest peaks. Pause en route to take in the spectacular vistas from viewpoints that peer down into the valley before a decadent lunch at Kasbah Tamadot, owned by Richard Branson. Walk off your meal with a stroll through the neighbouring village before heading to Asni to meet with local Berbers.
Riad Joya | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After a final breakfast at Villa Joya, head to the airport for your flight back to the UK. Meals: Breakfast
