Days 1 - 4 Sahara Desert
As you arrive in Marrakech, you will be met by a member of the A&K team and driven south to the Sahara Desert, travelling over mountains passes and by sun-baked kasbahs on your way to Ouarzazate. The unique scenery of Ait Banhaddou might be vaguely familiar - it has been the set of many a Hollywood blockbuster. Your destination is Erg Chebbi where your very own private camp awaits amid the vast sand dunes - the height of luxury in the desert. Dune bashing and camel riding are the order of each day, culminating with dinner back at camp under a magnificent canopy of stars.

Days 5 - 6 Marrakech

Marrakech will be quite a contrast to the solitude and space of the desert. Your A&K guide will lead you into the old medina through its maze of streets, where you’ll find artisan workshops and vibrant spice stores, mouth-watering bakeries with hamans next door which recycle the heat. Snake charmers and dancers will entertain you in Djemaa el-Fna square by day; by night the atmosphere is electric and an assault on the senses, with every imaginable type of food being plied from the foodstalls.

Days 7 - 8 Atlas Mountains

The nearby Atlas Mountains restore a more tranquil pace. Driving through the beautiful scenery you’ll meet Berber families in their villages; well known for their hospitality, you may find yourselves invited to take tea. Then the pace cranks up once more for the thrills and spills of zip lining and archery, amongst many of the pursuits available at Terres d'Amanar resort in the Atlas foothills.

Day 9 Essaouira
Your journey concludes on the laid back Atlantic coast in the charming pastel-hued town of Essaouira. The wind swept beaches are brilliant for kite and wind surfing.

You will be privately transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
