Begin with Morocco's biggest city, Casablanca, take a tour of the historic imperial city of Fes, ramble over Roman ruins, spend a peaceful night under the Sahara desert skies, and absorb the exotic atmosphere of Marrakech.
Day 1 - London/Casablanca
Fly from London to Casablanca, where you will be collected and driven to the Hyatt Regency. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring more of this beautiful city.
Day 2 - Casablanca/Rabat/Fes
This morning, begin with a tour of Casablanca and visit the Hassan II Grand Mosque.The mosque is amongst the largest in the world and can house as many as 25,000 worshippers. After your tour, start your drive to the historical city of Fes via the sights of Rabat, including the Citadel of Challah and the city's most famous site, La Tour Hassan mosque. On arrival, check in to Riad Fes for a three night stay.
Day 3 - Fes
Today, visit Fez El Bali, the largest living medieval medina city and cultural heart of Morocco.
Day 4 - Meknes/Volubilis
After breakfast,head to Volubilis, the largest and most wellpreserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Then head to Meknes, one of the Imperial Cities,to explore the impressive monuments, many of which were first built in the 17th Century by the powerful sultan, Moulay Ismail.
Day 5 - Fes/Sahara
Desert Cross throughthe picturesque Atlas Mountains, passing through Erfoud and Rissani before entering the Sahara Desert. Climb the dunes to admire the colours of the sunset and enjoy a night's sleep under the stars in our A&K private camp.
Day 6 - Sahara Desert/Ouarzazate
Head to Ouarzazate, one of the main gateways for caravanners, and check in to Le Berbere Palace. For a magnificent introduction to Berber architecture visit the Kasbah Taourirt.
Day 7 - Ouarzazate/Marrakech
Drive to Marrakech, stopping along the way at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the spectacular fortified village. Check in to Villa des Orangers for three nights.
Day 8 - Marrakech
Spend a full day in Marrakech visiting the city's monuments,such as the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Medrassa and the Saadian Tombs, before heading to the souks and the lively Djemaa El Fna Square.
Day 9 - Atlas Mountains
Travel to Asni and Imlil in the foothills of Mount Toubkal,the highest of the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a delightful lunch at Kasbah Tamadot, Sir Richard Branson's retreat, and then trekthrough the surrounding area enjoying the picturesque views.
Day 10 - Marrakech/London
Take your flight from Marrakech back home.
