The South

Morocco's southern region is one of diverse landscapes. Nothing can prepare you for the panorama of semi-arid, snow-topped mountains and serrated cliffs as you descend from the high Atlas Mountains.  The southern regions are jewels in the literal rough of the mountains and cliffs.

Ouarzazate is one of the main gateways for caravanners, to get a magnificent introduction to Berber architecture visit the Kasbah Taourirt. The World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, an ancient village that lies along the Ouarzazate River is home to film sets such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

The Skoura palm grove, where many other fruit trees grow is situated 25 miles from Ouarzazate. It also houses several kasbahs that become more and more impressive as you penetrate deeper and deeper into the palm grove.

Taroudant is a market town where the busy souks sell the product of the rich and fertile Souss Valley. Tour the old Kasbah Quarter, where the Saadians had their palaces.

We bring to you Le Gazelle D'Or in Taroudant and Le Berbere Palace in Ouarzazate amongst our handpicked properties.
