THE CAMP
Damaraland Camp is located in Namibia's Huab Valley, not too far from Torra Bay. This spectacular camp is run and owned by the local community, providing local heritage and a true African experience. Ten en suite thatched tents are raised on wooden decking, perfect for viewing the ancient valleys and peaks of the Brandberg Mountains. The main tent area comprises of a bar and restaurant, near to a swimming pool and campfire.
Damaraland is one of the most successful community trust properties in Namibia. Staying here you will know you are contributing to the development and growth of this area in a positive way.
Our consultant (Annie Jensen) really was excellent designing a great itinery minimising our time waiting around for transfers and both hotels, Four Seasons Bali and Oberoi Lombok exceeded our expections.
