Day 1 London / Doha
Fly to Doha for your onward flight to Kathmandu on Qatar Airlines.

Day 2 Doha / Kathmandu
Today you fly to Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city. On arrival at the airport, you will be met and driven to Dwarikas Hotel, your hotel for the next three nights.

Day 3 Kathmandu
After breakfast, start your day sightseeing with Kathmandu City. Visit Durbar square and Teleju Temple with its gilded roofs, stop at House of the Living Goddess before walking through the bazaar and labyrinth of back streets in the old city. Later continue to Swayambhunath - the "Monkey Temple", established more than 2500 years ago. Conclude the day with a visit to Patan City, the City of arts and architecture founded in 250 A.D

Day 4 Kathmandu
Begin your sightseeing at the Pashupatinath Temple, situated 5 km east of Kathmandu city, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Bouddhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. End the day with a visit to Bhaktapur, founded in the ninth century and the best preserved of the three original cities of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 5 Pokhara
Today fly to Pokhara. Situated in the foothills of the magnificent Mt. Macchapuchre, Pokhara is an enchanting city soaked in tranquility. It is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The serenity of the Phewa Lake, accompanied by the grandeur of Macchapuchre, creates an ambiance of peace and magic. Pokhara boasts dense forests, gushing rivers, lucid lakes and world famous view of the Himalayas.

Day 6 In Pokhara
For those keen on bird watching, a walk before breakfast with local guides will offer the chance to see many birds as they forage for food. Bulbuls, barbets, babblers and other species typical of the middle hills of Nepal are seen regularly around the lodge. After breakfast enjoy a day walk to explore the culture and flora of the hill villages around the lodge. Combining steady walking, rural villages, farmland and forest, the walks will be a mini-trek and typical of a day's walking in the Himalayas. An option of a shorter walk and return to the lodge for lunch is also available.

Day 7 Pokhara / Chitwan
Today drive to Chitwan, a journey of 4 to 5 hours. Chitwan National Park is one of Asia's finest and richest wildlife sanctuaries, was established in 1973 and granted the status of World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 360 square miles. A true wilderness in every sense of the word with its extraordinary humidity, lush riverine grasslands, densely forested hills and comforting background choir of crickets singing, the park is also home to a plethora of wildlife including a staggering number of bird species, one-horned rhinoceros and the majestic but elusive Royal Bengal tiger. In the evening Tharu stick dance farmers and the local ethnic tribe will entertain you with their traditional skills and dancing.

Day 8 Chitwan National Park
Start the day with a walk through the park’s open grassland and riverine forest. Your naturalist will help you to identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife you may encounter. In the afternoon cross the Narayani River by boat for a jungle excursion.

Day 9 Chitwan / Kathmandu
After breakfast fly to Kathmandu and spend the rest of the day as you wish.

This morning you will be driven to the airport for your flight home.

The climate varies in Nepal from cool summers and severe winters in the north to subtropical summers and mild winters in the south. October and November are the best time to visit. The monsoon occurs between June and September.
