Why we like it

  • Located in Panama City (Panama Old Quarter)
  • This Panama City aparthotel offers a restaurant and a bar/lounge
  • Las Clementinas has a restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced produce
  • This hotel only has 6 rooms, thus giving the impressions of a home away from home with the plush warming interiors only adding to that effect

A&K Top Tip

The hotel is quiet and relaxing despite being situated in the heart of vibrant Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Las Clementanas was originally built in the 1930s as an apartment building. Each of the six apartments has now been lovingly resorted and renovated as large, bright and airy suites. The original layouts of the apartments have been retained, meaning each suite is actually a full one-bedroom apartment, with kitchen, high ceilings, and wrap around balconies.

Each room is individual in character, some have views of the sea and others have views of Ancon Hill and the former Canal Zone. All suites have sustainably harvested tropical hardwood floors, double-pane glass windows for sound isolation, high speed internet and central air conditioning. Furnishings are a delicate blend of antiques and more contemporary pieces.

From the moment you arrive you will enjoy the sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, as you sip a cocktail while listening to live piano in the bar. Las Clementanas boats a superb bistro serving a fusion of Panamanian and European cuisine. Take a drink up to the roof terrace for an amazing view - the historic Casco Viejo to one side and the spectacular modern skyline of Panama City to the other.
