- The Relaxation Centre offers everything from classic Finnish sauna to massage and cleansing treatments
- Other facilities include a fitness centre, the Von Witte Bar with its open fireplace, and airport transfers
- We recommend the Executive Suite for the ultimate experience in luxury living - fine antiques, Bulgari amenities, Italian marble and a balcony with a view of the Hermitage Museum
THE HOTEL
Opened in August 2005, the Moika retains the wonderful façade of a historic building, designed by Dutch engineer, Basil von Witte during the years 1852-1853. Behind the façade, however, the building has been entirely reconstructed to create a slick and elegant interior - with marble floors and a huge, glass ceilings atrium at its heart.
The Moika's 188 rooms and suites offer panoramic views of St. Petersburg's golden cupolas and gilded palaces and are calm, homely spaces. All have super-comfortable beds with the finest quality goose-down pillows and duvets, air-conditioning and separate bathrooms with heated floors.
May to October is the best time to enjoy the summer days. Russian winters can be extremely cold, but if well protected against the elements, is a romantic time to visit.
