Signal Restaurant offers creative Cape cuisine that's fresh and inventive drawing on influences from the many nationalities and customs that have shaped this region since being settled in 1652. The library is the perfect place to relax during the day and serves sumptuous afternoon tea.

October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
