Originally built in 1910 and offering a distinctive Colonial experience, this splendidly restored Edwardian Manor House offers guests refined comfort, friendly service and enticing cuisine in the African bush. Shamwari Long Lee Manor overlooks the sweeping plains leading down to the Bushmans River and accommodates 38 guests in 15 elegant en suite rooms and three luxury suites. Delightfully prepared meals are enjoyed in the main dining room, under the Pepper Tree or at the boma. Two swimming pools and a spa offer relaxation opportunities between game drives.

Best time to be there
October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
