The Cape's southern coast is one of the most beautiful in the world. Sheer cliffs and sheltered bays are clothed in indigenous vegetation whilst small towns are home to some of the country's finest and most refined hotels and restaurants. To the east of Cape Town is the Whale Coast, where these magnificent creatures are often sighted between the months of June and November. The region is packed with pockets of fynbos, the varied and unique flora of the region. The Garden Route runs between Mossel Bay and Storms River and links some of South Africa's most scenic regions: the golden sands of Plettenberg Bay, the picturesque Knysna Lagoon and the forests of Tsitsikamma make it a perfect self-drive region. Alternatively you can fly into George to begin your Garden Route adventure.
Abercrombie & Kent's Garden Route holidays are the perfect way to explore this vibrant region.
