    Johannesburg & Gauteng Holidays

Following the discovery of gold in 1886, the birth of Johannesburg began. In recent years, downtown Johannesburg has undergone a rejuvenation programme,
with gleaming skyscrapers contrasting with local markets. In order to get a better understanding of South Africa's apartheid era, a visit to Soweto is a must on any visit to Johannesburg. Home to over two million people, excursions will take you to some of the places that changed the future of South Africa.

Pretoria is the administrative capital of South Africa. Known as the 'Jacaranda City', the tree-lined avenues are transformed in a vision of mauve
during the spring. It is also the starting place for some of the greatest and most luxurious train journeys in the world - The Blue Train and Rovos Rail.
