THE HOTEL
Camp Jabulani, a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux Association, is situated within the Kapama Private Game Reserve in South Africa - a 12 000 hectare Big Five game reserve. Thirteen thousand hectares of undisturbed bushveld forms the backdrop. The 6 elegantly furnished canvas suites at Camp Jabulani's luxury accommodation, each sleeping 2 guests, are set on stilts in the upper reaches of tall trees, overlooking a seasonal river and are interconnected to one another by wooden walkways high above the sandy river bed. Each of the six luxury suites are remote and private, with wooden sliding doors present interiors which are stylish and comfortable. Massive stone tubs, an outdoor glass-enclosed shower, a fire-place with separate lounge area, and a private plunge pool complement each of the rooms. During the day the "walls" of the suites are rolled away to bring the bush just that bit closer. A thatched bar, dining room and campfire area in the indigenous garden, contribute to the intimate ambience of the camp.

The Zindoga Villa is Camp Jabulani's most recent addition and is a palatial self-contained facility. It has been designed for guests who prefer the more exclusive touch, for smaller groups, or for families travelling with younger children. Two individual units are connected by a lounge and dining area. Each unit has a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, expansive wooden deck and a private heated plunge pool. One of the units also has a charming twin room, with private bathroom for two children sharing.

We recommendIn the summer months head down to the dam to watch the camps elephants bath and frolic in the water

Guest Testimonial

We appreciated knowing the travel specialist (Katie Sims) from the previous A&K holiday. The hotels in Grenada and Cordoba were excellent.
The Renfe trains from Grenada to Malaga were very impressive. On time, comfortable and fast.
