Situated on the perennial Sabie River on the Lion Sands property, 1933 is a fabulous exclusive use bush home, perfect for the ultimate family safari. Carefully constructed to blend in with nature the lodge is by no means out of touch with modernity. The lodge's large windows, sliding doors and muted colours mirror the surrounding landscape and create a seamless, indoor-outdoor flow. Timber, thatch and screed flooring add earthy charm to the interior, where the decor is classic-contemporary. Accommodation comprises of four spacious suites, lavish bathrooms, a childrens dormitory that can sleep up to eight and an interleading room for an au-pair.

Best time to be there
October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
