    The Nature Trail

    South Africa, 9 Nights

    Day 1 - London/Cape Town
    Depart London-Heathrow on your overnight British Airways flight to Cape Town.

    Day 2 - Cape Town

    Meet your A&K representative and transfer to the Cape Cadogan, Owners Cottage for three nights.

    Days 3 to 4 - Cape Town

    Two full days are at your disposal to explore. The 'Active Cape Point' excursion is a great way to discover the point by mountain bike.

    Day 5 - Cape Town/Hermanus

    Depart Cape Town early and drive along the Whale route to Hermanus. 40kms out of Cape Town stop off at 'Monkey Town' primate centre - a sanctuary for 230 exotic primates. Your day will conclude at the Birkenhead Villa.

    Day 6 - Hermanus

    Today is free for you to explore Hermanus. During whale season (June to November) the southern rights can be spotted in the bay from the cliff tops, or take a boat trip to see these magnificent creatures up close.

    Days 7 to 8 - Grootbos

    A short drive along the coast brings you to Grootbos where you may enjoy the many activities available. Expert botanists can take you on guided tours of the fynbos and horses are available for riding through this magical area.

    Day 9 - Grootbos/Plettenberg Bay

    Continue along the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay. After a four hour drive and a leisurely lunch en route a warm welcome awaits you at Hunter's Country House. 

    Day 10 - Plettenberg Bay
    There is plenty to do in the Plettenberg area, we would recommend a visit to 'The Craggs Elephant Sanctuary'. 

    Day 11 - Plettenberg Bay/Johannesburg/London

    Depart Plettenberg to Port Elizabeth for your flights to Johannesburg and London.
