Although from the exterior the building has been designed along the lines of a rustic Tuscan Villa, La Residence offers 11 individually furnished suites, each with palatial bathrooms, exquisite linen, silks, plush Persian rugs, and an eclectic mix of objets d'art. A property of extreme opulence, the Marharani Suite is complete with white porcelain bed and antique tapestry headboard.
French panache extends to every corner of La Residence. Comfortable sofas, majestic oriental hardwood antiques, and soothing silk tones create an air of grace and elegance. Expansive patios and landscaped gardens offer magnificent opportunities to relax, admire the views from the infinity pool over the olive grove and torwards the mountains. Every fine detail has an air of magic, giant open fireplaces blaze in the main lodge during winter and enormous four metre high patio doors open wide in summer to let in the cool mountain breeze. Food is of the highest quality, locally sourced fine produce is used to create bountiful banquets at breakfast and sumptuous romantic dinners.

Best time to be there
October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
