Tea Plantations

Hatton and Nuwara Eliya are at the heart of Sri Lanka's tea plantations. Nuwara Eliya was created by the British during colonial times and as a result, the homes in the area are very English in style, with manicured lawns and Georgian architecture. The lush green countryside extends for miles across the hills and no visit to the region is complete without a visit to one of the many tea estates.
