Le Meridien Bora Bora
Why we like it
- Overlooking Bora Bora's beautiful lagoon
- This waterfront resort sits on two islands and has dramatic views of Mt Otemanu
- Featuring traditional French Polynesian design and artwork
- Inner lagoon full of turtles and tropical fish
- Glass bottom floors for viewing marine life
Tropical fish are in abundance in this remote and beautiful area of the world, with a fluent English speaking guide you can head out for some snorkeling and be explained to and pointed out some of the most colourful marine life ever discovered.
First experience with A&K. Intended to ask various travel companies for quotes but Vicky (Hamlin) was so good with her suggestions that we did not seek alternative quotations the suggested itinerary was excellent and helped us decide on a balanced and interesting holiday.

Le Méridien Bora Bora is located on a Polynesian islet, surrounded by a turquoise lagoon. It offers guests luxurious over-water bungalows with glass-bottom floors or beach bungalows under coconut trees. Activities include water sports, swimming with turtles, deep-sea fishing and shark feeding.

Best time to travel
Jan - Oct
The South Pacific is drier and cooler June through to October and this is perhaps the best time to visit, however take into account the tradewinds which can bring unstable weather from the south between June and August. November to May is warmer and more humid but still a great time to travel.
