Day 3 - Arusha/Tarangire
Today meet your Abercrombie & Kent private driver/guide who will lead you on your first game drive through Tarangire National Park and will be your guide for the duration of your safari. You will spend two nights at Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the wooded savannahs around Tarangire River.

Day 4 - Tarangire
Take a game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is renowned for its very diverse bird population and wonderful panoramas of wide savannah grasslands dotted with open acacia woodland, studded with large baobab trees

There is time for an early morning game drive before your guide will drive you to Ngorongoro Crater where you will stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for two nights.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7 - Ngorongoro/Serengeti
Following breakfast, transfer to the Serengeti. The journey to Serengeti Serena becomes a game drive as you explore the open plains.

Day 8 - Serengeti
The short grass plains, rocky outcrops and tortilis woodland around camp offer conditions to suit every type of animal, so the game viewing experience is especially varied. Choose to have a picnic lunch and stay out exploring the Serengeti all day, or simply relax in camp.

Day 9 - Serengeti/Nairobi/London
Following your safari take a flight via Arusha and Nairobi back to London arriving early morning on day 10. Alternatively you may wish to extend you stay to include Saadani National Park.

At A&K all of our journeys are individually tailored to suit your needs and timescale. However, as a guide, this 9 day Highlights of Tanzania itinerary will cost from £5,400 per person based on two adults sharing with flights from the UK and subject to availability.
