Katavi National Park is as dramatic as anywhere you'll ever visit in one lifetime - one of the greatest wildlife experiences of Africa. Miles from anywhere, it has an almost mythical status and a colossal density of mammals, from elephant and cheetah to crocodile and hippo. Almost everywhere you look, there's something grazing, bellowing, fighting, mating or hunting. Holing up at Chada Katavi, the only camp in a million wild acres, is a rather civilised event, the perfect retreat after a day of thrilling safari adventure and discovery on wheels or on foot. Creature comforts abound in this untamed world. Hidden in the acacia and tamarind trees are just six romantic roomy tents with fine wooden furniture, large shade net windows that let in light and air, and private de luxe bathrooms. Fabulous bush cuisine is served in your remote hideaway at dinnertime.

We very much appreciated the champagne to celebrate A&K's anniversary.  Our guide Omar & driver Basil were both absolutely excellent throughout. Many thanks for making our trip to Jordan so enjoyable and for all the hard work that ensured our holiday ran so smoothly!
