    Sited deep in the heart of a mahogany forest, this is the only lodge in Lake Manyara National Park. The game-rich surroundings include large herds of elephant and buffalo, along with soaring trees, a tranquil lake and mountain escarpments. Designed to create minimal impact on the environment, the ten stilted tree house suites are a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, ensuring privacy and exclusivity in a cool, leafy environ. Classically elegant rooms have large windows and earthy, understated features, while the en suite facilities include an inviting outdoor shower. Breakfasts and picnics are served on the lakeshore.

    Due to Tanzania's proximity to the equator the climate is generally warm year round ranging between 25°C to 32°C, there are however regional variations. With two rain seasons, the 'short rains' fall between November and December whilst the 'long rains' between February and into early May. The best time to travel to Tanzania is between December and March and July and October.
