Weather

Due to Tanzania's proximity to the equator the climate is generally warm year round ranging between 25°C to 32°C, there are however regional variations. With two rain seasons, the 'short rains' fall between November and December whilst the 'long rains' between February and into early May. The best time to travel to Tanzania is between December and March and July and October.

  • The camp is separated into two divisions, 6 tents in North Camp & 7 tents in South Camp, all en suite and with open air hot water showers

THE CAMP
This luxury camp comprises of 13 tents raised onto wooden platforms, allowing panoramic views across the banks of Lake Nzerakera. Local fresh fruit, vegetables & spices are served in the dining area, also raised onto wooden platforms for admirable views.

Amazing activities include game drives on open four-wheeled drive vehicles, perfect for spotting game up close in their natural habitat. Boat safaris in robust metal boats allow the seamless view of hippos and crocodiles swarming through the river.

For an even closer unique opportunity to view game, why not try a walking safari. This is the ideal way to gain a broader understanding of nature, whilst looking out for elephants and the 300 bird species.
