Zanzibar , Tanzania
Scan the skyline of Zanzibar's Stone Town, and along with mosque minarets, Hindu temple towers and church spires, you'll spot the Tower Top Restaurant of 236 Hurumzi. This hotel, formerly known as Emerson & Green stands proud in full glory, reminiscent of ancient Arabian nights but now offering guests a beautiful stay. The ten guestrooms each represent Zanzibari traditions in a distinct way. Sizeable beds combine with larger than normal stone bathtubs to provide ultimate bathing pleasure. As for the Tower Top, this is undoubtedly one of the most romantic restaurants in the world. Watching the sun setting into the Indian Ocean is pure spectacle.
