The Naka Island, A luxury Collection Resort & Spa
Why we like it
- An exclusive resort hotel, accessed only by private speedboat from Phuket
- Two restaurants offering exceptional western and Thai cuisine will entice your taste buds
- The Naka Island Spa offers unique local cultural treatments as well as the more traditional beauty treatments
- Elegantly decorated in classic Thai style
- Activities on offer are swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports
- The Naka Island is the perfect choice for a true island experience in Thailand
The large freshwater swimming pool offers the singular experience of swimming while gazing out over the sparkling ocean and Phang Nga Bay.
In Chiang Mai we were met by Aung, who was also lovely and took care of us very well. Once again I am so glad that you recommended the 137 Pillars House, it was perfect and I would have happily stayed there some more days.

Best time to be there
November to March. April is often the hottest month of the year, and also the month of the celebratory 'Songkran' festivals. May to October is the rainy season, with short bursts of rainstorms refreshing the green paddy fields once more.
