Day One
Begin by exploring this magnificent city that is a bridge between Europe and Asia. Visit the Archaeological Museum and see Alexander's Sarcophagus, the Basilica Cistern, a marvel of civil engineering and the Hagia Sophia, one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Drive to the periphery of the ancient city to view the City Walls, stop to explore Chora Church known for its Byzantine mosaics. Stroll through the Pera District and go atop Galata Tower.
Day Two
Explore the grounds of Topkapi Palace (including the Harem Section) once the massive centre of the Ottoman government and court, stop for lunch at Istanbul Modern also viewing the exhibits, continue to Dolmabahce Palace a must-see with its beautiful gardens.. In the late afternoon, take a private cruise on the Bosphorus.
Day Three
Today, explore the Age of Sinan in istanbul's mosques and bazaars. Stop to see the Blue Mosque and visit Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum. Continue to Suleyman Mosque built by the master architect of the 16th Century Ottoman Empire, Sinan, acclaimed by Frank Lloyd Wright as being the "master builder of all time." Visit his dignified Suleymaniye Mosque and then to the 3,500-stall Grand Bazaar.
Stroll down the Mahmutpasa Market to Spice Bazaar and visit Sinan's Rustem pasa Mosque.

Optional Extension to Cappadocia
Cappadocia's lunar-like landscape is filled with "fairy chimneys" of soft, porous stone that have been transformed into cave dwellings, monasteries and cellar villages. Explore the rock-cut churches in Göreme, see the stunning frescoes in the Dark Church, join a Ulasli family for lunch in their home and glimpse Cappadocia from above on a hot-air balloon ride. Accommodation will be at the Anatolian Houses.
