Located at the southern tip of the Bahamas chain, the Turks & Caicos islands with their spectacular white sand beaches, turquoise sea and friendly people, offer a luxuriously tranquil retreat. Turks and Caicos holidays between January and April may be punctuated by the sight of humpback whales as they take their annual migration to Mouchoir Bank, just to the south east of the islands.

With 210 square miles of protected wetlands, flamingos, pelicans and ospreys are just a few of the 170 bird species that can be found throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Of the 40 islands that make up Turks and Caicos, only eight are inhabited. Legend has it that Parrot Cay was formerly known as Pirate Cay as it was here that female pirate Anne Bonny stayed in the 1720s. The treasure on this island is now a 1,000 acre private island hideaway.
