Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is in the southern part of Bwindi National Park which is situated in the Great Rift Valley. Bwindi extends over a series of steep ridges, its massive rainforest almost impenetrable, its secretive interior providing the perfect habitat for the gorilla population. The lodge has 8 stone bedrooms with two of these being double-roomed family units perfect for friends and family travelling together. Each room has its own twin basin en suite bathroom, as well as electric lights, plugs points and a cosy fireplace. The main building with reception, dining, shop and bar area also have 6 fireplaces to keep it cosy throughout the day. Many of the fixtures and furnishings and the artwork in and around the lodge has been commissioned by Ugandan artisans and artists.
Spend a late afternoon by the fire enjoying a drink while reminiscing about your close encounters with the gorilla's during the day. 
Our consultant (Annie Jensen) really was excellent designing a great itinery minimising our time waiting around for transfers and both hotels, Four Seasons Bali and Oberoi Lombok exceeded our expections.
