Hoi an and Danang , Vietnam
Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa is situated in the charming town of Hoi An that is reminiscent of Vietnam's glorious past. The resort sits along a stretch of white sand beach with one side facing the River Delta and the other facing the sea. It is designed to resemble a small fishing village, with tiny streets and water ponds, small houses with clay-tiled roofs and round Chinese cloth lanterns. Each of the rooms and bungalows combine the elegance of local handicraft with the comfort of an international standard hotel.
The resort has 109 rooms, all of which face either the river or the sea and decorated in Japanese, Classic French or traditional Vietnamese style. 4 Deluxe Beach Front rooms feature a sitting area with sofa, writing table and private balcony with sun chairs that leads directly to the resort's private beach. In addition, the five Victoria Suites have a large bathroom with open air jacuzzi bathtub, large terrace and outdoor shower in a colourful garden.
Regional climate differences mean that there is no best time; try September to December to avoid the humidity in the north, December to April to miss the rains in the south and December to March is perfect for trips to the Central highlands. Catch the Trung Thu Moon festival in September or October for traditional lion and dragon dances.
