Sixteen guests are accommodated between five classic safari tents, one honeymoon tent and three superior tents. Located in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, Chiawa Camp is superbly sited to enjoy both the cool shade of a grove of mahogany and faidherbia trees, and the denim expanse of the mighty Zambezi River. Sumptuous cuisine is served on the al-fresco dining veranda and post dinner nightcaps are served around the campfire. To best appreciate the park's inhabitants, Chiawa offers guiding both on land and water.

The best time to travel is between April and June, there is little to no rain rainfall and the Falls are at their fullest. These are the winter months therefore temperatures will only peak at around 20°C, although days are clear and bright.
