Royal Zambezi Lodge
Why we like it
- Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, on the edge of the Lower Zambezi National Park
- Activities on offer are day and night game drives, walking safaris, boat trips for game-viewing, photographic safaris, canoe trips and fishing
- The Royal Zambezi Bush Spa is the first and only bush spa in Zambia
- A beautifully designed contemporary lodge
- Boasting ten classic suites, four deluxe suites complete with a private plunge pool and one Presidential Suite
- An impeccable camp and an excellent choice for a honeymoon
In the evenings gather at the teak bar built around an ancient tree, relax with a drink whilst the sun sets behind the distant mountains.
A trip of a lifetime; we were sorry to come home. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, particularly Sussi and Chuma.

The open plan reception area, dining room and lounge have classic architectural lines and lofty thatched roofs. An elegant copper-roofed verandah provides an informal space for al fresco dining or enjoying afternoon tea.
