Set on the banks of the Luangwa River, Mchenja Camp commands magnificent river views. The camp has five stylishly designed tents under thatch, each with outside shower and indoor bath. A small pool allows you to cool off after a busy morning of safari activities. Game viewing in this part of the park is exceptional and excursions are conducted on foot or by vehicle. Superb night game drives are available and well worth while as you are bound to see many of Luangwa's large pods of hippo - there are estimated to be at least 50 hippos per kilometre of river.

Guest Testimonial
We appreciated knowing the travel specialist (Katie Sims) from the previous A&K holiday. The hotels in Grenada and Cordoba were excellent.
The Renfe trains from Grenada to Malaga were very impressive. On time, comfortable and fast. ![]()
