In the northwest corner of Zimbabwe, on the border with Botswana, Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest park at 14,600 square kilometres. It offers you a vast array of vegetation, scenery and game, notably large herds of animals and in particular elephant herds. One of the joys of Hwange is that its wildlife and scenery can be enjoyed by game drives - both day and night - or on foot.
The national park is home to over 100 mammal species, including the Big Five. The best time to visit is in the dry season (August to October) when the wildlife congregates around the water holes.
Suggested Hwange Accommodation

First experience with A&K. Intended to ask various travel companies for quotes but Vicky (Agnew) was so good with her suggestions that we did not seek alternative quotations the suggested itinerary was excellent and helped us decide on a balanced and interesting holiday.![]()
