Guest Testimonial

Just a short note to thank you for all your efforts in putting together our itinerary for our honeymoon. We had the most utterly fantastic time and we were impressed time and again by the A&K service; all of the transfers happened perfectly and we were looked after from the minute our journey began. We also got a sense that we were staying in places that we would not have found had it not been booked through you. In par

Located on the border, Hwange National Park in the south-eastern Linkwasha Concession is home to one of the densest concentrations of game in Africa. Davison's Camp is one of the few camps within the park, offering complete luxury and utter privacy while surrounded by incredible wildlife. Looking over an open plain and active waterhole, Davison's offers nine spacious and comfortable tents with en suite bathrooms, including one tent especially for families. Each homely tent is furnished to the highest standard and affords its own private deck with magnificent vistas across the waterhole below.

After a busy morning game drive, the inviting swimming pool provides a welcome place to cool off from the heat of the African sun before enjoying an unforgettable afternoon tea in the main hub of the camp, the lounge and dining area. In the evenings, you can gather round the open campfire - the perfect place to retire with your fellow campers, sundowner in hand, to share stories of the day's adventures before enjoying a delicious dinner in the main tent.

Activities at Davison's camp are extensive and there are plenty of opportunities available to get up close to the wildlife. You can choose to explore Hwange by foot or head out in an open sided 4WD with an expert safari guide who will open your eyes to the incredible world of Zimbabwean wildlife. While out on your adventure, be sure to look out for the Big Five as well as other animals such as Burchell's zebra, hippo and warthog. In total there are over 100 mammal species in the park to - and if that wasn't enough, the Linkwasha Concession is also home to more than 400 species of birds.
