Responsibilities:
  • Identifies current and future training needs
  • Develops appropriate soft skills training solutions
  • Delivers training face to face and online
  • Where necessary sources external training solutions
  • Business partners with departments to support development of staff
  • Coordinate the Training Academy
  • Manage the leadership development training programme
  • Provides one to one coaching where required
  • Coordinates appraisal processes
  • Liaise with all departments to arrange new starter inductions and training
  • Oversee apprentices and liaise with line managers
  • Responsibility for the A&K apprenticeship levy, maximising the use of funds
  • Support the HR department with the graduate recruitment assessment days
  • Evaluate and audit effectiveness of training solutions
  • Assist the Head of HR project manage any ad-hoc projects

Experience/Qualifications:
 
Essential

  • Experience of designing and delivering soft skills training solutions
  • Organising and coordinating staff induction experience
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages

 
Desirable

  • Travel industry experience 
  • CIPD Qualification in Learning & Development or equivalent
  • Qualification in coaching and/or mentoring
