Responsibilities:
  • Assist where necessary to enable the sales team to achieve their team targets and to bring in bookings
  • Confirm all services on behalf of the sales team
  • Delegate online enquiries within the team 
  • Generate, check and format confirmation documentation for all bookings generally aiming for 24-48-hour turnaround from request to confirmation
  • Liaise with the operations team on all relevant areas
  • Assist the sales manager with any reporting requirements necessary
  • Support the sales team with booking amends and questions at times they are absent
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding any involuntary changes to bookings and offer alternatives
  • Maximising every opportunity to upsell and proactively offer additional services
  • Take payments on behalf of the sales team where necessary
  • Request invoices from suppliers and check costs against the bookings before sending to Accounts to ensure they are paid on time
  • Managing final balance payments to ensure they are received on time from the client
  • Being exceptionally thorough and accurate in checking all client documentation.  Attention to detail is imperative
  • Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels

  • Provide cover for absent colleagues so that service standards are not adversely affected.
