I started travelling independently as soon as I was able and developed a real passion for experiencing different and exciting places. At university the opportunity arose to live and study in Melbourne for a year and I jumped at the chance. Australia is such a vast and varied country, it has something for everyone and really I fell in love with the laid back foodie culture and beach lifestyle.
What's your favourite destination?
Hvar. Whether you're exploring the backstreets and finding hidden little foodie gems or renting a boat and discovering unspoilt lagoons along the archipelago, it's an amazing place to be.
Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?
Africa- I have a real passion for wildlife and conservation so this diverse and beautiful continent is definitely a must for me! On top of my bucket list would be a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant orphanage in Nairobi, closely followed by a trip to Virunga National Park in the Democratic Rupublic of Congo for a morning trek into the mountains to see the Silverback Gorilla in their natural habitat!
How many languages do you speak?
Which five items do you always pack when travelling?
More than one pair of sunglasses because one will always break, camera, kindle, blister plasters and make sure you download relevant apps for your destination especially ones that will help you get around, like city mapper.
What's your top travel tip?
Plan your outfits for each day to ensure you pack lightly, if you don't wear it at home you won't start to on holiday.
