Growing up in multicultural London, I was always filled with awe by the many different cultures, languages and travels of the people around me. I developed a passion for languages and later, decided to study French and Spanish at university. I loved learning about the history, culture and politics of the French, Spanish and Hispanic-speaking people. The highlight of my education was undoubtedly the time I spent living in Nice, Granada and Madrid. What's your favourite destination?
Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?
I really want to go travelling through Latin America. I've always wanted to marvel at the Amazon, walk the Inca trail and go stargazing in the Atacama.
How many languages do you speak?
Three, but I'm learning a fourth
Which five items do you always pack when travelling?
Luggage scales, a camera, and your passport (even the best of us can leave it at home), hand sanitiser and tissues
What's your top travel tip?
Embrace the culture and try to learn a bit of the language. You never know when it may come in handy
