At 14, I stepped out of Europe for the first time, visiting Egypt with my family. My eyes were opened to a new culture. I knew I wanted to travel more so began saving my pennies for my own adventures. I've spent some time living and working in India, teaching English and working in an elderly residence. The colour, the pace, the chaos, and the sheer amount of vegetarian food were all things I enjoyed. What truly captured my heart, however, was the welcoming nature of the people.
