Top six experiences in Noosa
Noosa is famous for laid-back vibes and no-stress living. Here are six of our favourite experiences from the relaxation capital of Australia.

Navigate your way through one of only two everglades in the world to experience tranquillity and reflection. The Noosa Everglades has been kept in pristine condition, with 65 per cent of its catchment in protected national park land. With just the gentle hum of birds and the small splashing sound of your oar dipping into the water, stay stress-free while being active in this rare wilderness.
Experience pure serenity as you relax on Makepeace Island, the Australian home of Sir Richard Branson. Its secluded nature guarantees privacy, but the heart-shaped island also offers a plethora of activities, from paddle boarding to a game of tennis. For a little luxury, sip a drink or two poolside before heading to the beach via an on-call speedboat.
Noosa National Park
Be sure to look up when you’re exploring the stunning national park as it’s known as a koala hot spot. Follow the 5.4-kilometre Coastal Track, keeping an eye out for whale, dolphin and turtle along the way, or enjoy a dip in one of the secluded bays. Guided tours reveal the fascinating flora and fauna here, while the waves of this World Surfing Reserve are a temptation for any surfer.
Markets often show the character of a destination, and Eumundi Markets does just that. Offering over 550 charming stalls with an ethos of ‘make it, bake it, sew it or grow it’, it’s the biggest arts and craft market in Australia. Be aware that it’s only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so make sure you plan your trip accordingly to avoid missing out.
4x4 beach drive
For a rush, spend the day crossing Noosa’s white-sand beaches during a 4x4 tour. You’ll have Australia’s bush on one side, and the sparkling Pacific on the other. Along the way, admire natural wonders, native wildlife and gorgeous scenery.
Have a picture-perfect picnic
Noosa is well-regarded for its food, thanks to award-winning restaurants, celebrated local produce and the Noosa Food & Wine Festival (held each May). With mild temperatures and sunny days, alfresco dining is de rigueur here. Picnic on the beachfront while watching whale and dolphin in the ocean – what more could you wish for? This region is the perfect place to relax during a luxury tour of Australia.
