With more than 30 years of experience, Nairobi-born John Niva has been with A&K since 1989 and started out as one of the youngest safari guides in the industry. He enjoys hosting family safaris and sharing his extensive knowledge of African wildlife and culture.
Kelvin Pronet Kinabo
A&K private guide
Kilimanjaro-born Kelvin studied biodiversity conservation and wildlife management in Mweka, and worked with the African Wildlife Foundation to monitor elephant migration as well as track primates. In 2006, Kelvin joined A&K and his wildlife experience is greatly appreciated by travellers he has guided.

Franklin Vargas has guided curious visitors around Peru for 21 years. He speaks four languages including Quechua – an Indigenous language of the Andean people. Franklin has led hiking trips along the Inca Trail, even summitting the 2,693-metre mountain of Huayna Picchu twice in one day.
