About Namib Outpost
Namib Outpost is located within 7,000 hectares of nature reserve deep in the Namib Desert, offering relaxed hospitality with a natural atmosphere. Enjoy views of the baked landscape from the 12 houses or from the restaurant, lounge and pool area, which sits on the base of a mountain. Explore the dunes of Sossusvlei, horse ride through the desert, or head out on foot on a selection of nature walks and hikes. There's no experience quite like watching the sun set over the desert – always a highlight of any stay here.
The individual houses are comfortable and stylish, with thatched roofs, glass-fronted doors and windows overlooking this vast “empty place” – the real meaning of the word, Namib. Each house has its own private sleeping deck and sun terrace shaded by thatched roofing.
